Objectives

  • In DRC: Agricultural sector = subsistence ;

  • Characteristics: inefficiency, low productivity = lack of food self-satisfaction by the population;

  • To N/K: malnutrition, animal protein deficiency;

  • Fish = basic protein ;

  • Difficulties: high price = reduced access by the local population. Local ;

  • Practices: Improve aquaculture productivity (Fish farming = cash activity).

  • Establishment of a fish farm;

  • Contribute to the socio-economic development of the population;
  • Fighting hunger & malnutrition;
  • Fight against unemployment (job creation);
  • Empowering rural women through fish farming
