In DRC: Agricultural sector = subsistence ;
Characteristics: inefficiency, low productivity = lack of food self-satisfaction by the population;
To N/K: malnutrition, animal protein deficiency;
Fish = basic protein ;
Difficulties: high price = reduced access by the local population. Local ;
Practices: Improve aquaculture productivity (Fish farming = cash activity).
Establishment of a fish farm;
- Contribute to the socio-economic development of the population;
- Fighting hunger & malnutrition;
- Fight against unemployment (job creation);
- Empowering rural women through fish farming
